Overall this looks like the smallest and lightest protective case available for my DJI mini pro 3.
However, I bought it for bikepacking because I'd already broken a propellor due to having the drone in a soft camera case, and I imagine this was going to be sculpted so as to hold the drone in place in a way that the propellors weren't touched. So I was surprised that it was like this on one side but not the other - the drone was free to rattle around inside and to press on the upper side wings. Ideally the upper wing side would have an indent in the middle that held the drone in place and created 'pockets' for each propellor, much like it does for the lower side. In the photos attached you can see how the drone can freely crush the upper side propellors. Even more surprising was that the case was also longer than needed so the drone could basically be shaken back and forth inside the case.
I worked around these issues by taking out the lid felt lining and gluing on about 6mm of EVA craft foam into it instead - this enabled me to lock the drone into a middle position, and prevent the upper side propellors from being bashed. It does put some pressure on the drone from each end though, so I'm a bit concerned about the metal latch holding out there. I wish the case was sculpted the same on the top side as the bottom (in on the sides plus a middle pocket). The overall dimensions would end up smaller and the propellors would be more protected.
Again, this seems to be the best option though versus anything else I've tried out, so I'm happy with it for now.

Like most all these type of accessories, they only fit the basic drone. I want something that fits this drone with landing gear attached so I do not have to attach each time. I will be modifying the case to allow this fit.
